( 2.9 / 92 )I am going to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX featuring the Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. the Auburn Tigers. The game will be played on January 1st. It will be the first time I have ever spent time in Dallas, so that should be a good experience.
We talked about the possibilites of going to a bowl game, but it was contingent on where either Alabama or Auburn went and who they played. I also have to consider that I am partially responsible the our end of year inventory, so I can't get off just anytime I would like during the New Year. This just happens to work out perfectly.
I am hoping for no snow. That could drastically change the entire trip. I am also hoping to be able to ride the Texas Star. If you didn't know, the Cotton Bowl is located in the center of the Texas State Fairgrounds. The Texas Star is the largest Ferris Wheel on this continent and is located there in the fairgrounds.
There's only one draw back to this...I don't have any Husker gear, yet. I will though. I am going with this or this or this. I can't quite decide. Either way it should be fun. New Years in Dallas should be pretty great.
